It all started in 2009 when two friends and gaming enthusiasts began designing games from their tiny, shared apartment. Today Playkot has over 300 team members onboard, working from 25 countries, both in the office in Limassol and remotely around the world.

As Playkot enters its 16th year, we’re excited to share some of its key milestones:

• Of the 17 games launched by Playkot, 12 have been commercially successful, including hits like SuperCity, Age of Magic, and Spring Valley. The team is already gearing up for new releases.

• SuperCity, a city builder with over 30 million installs across eight platforms, has thrived for 13 years. It remains one of the top five grossing games on Facebook and the #1 city builder on the platform, while ranking among the top 25 city builders worldwide.

• Age of Magic, a mid-core dark fantasy brawler, has amassed over 20 million installs and features 150 heroes and seven game modes. In the past year alone, its player base has grown 2.5 times.

• Spring Valley, a casual game celebrating its second anniversary, has been installed on nearly 14 million devices and crossed 1 million installs per month last year. It was also one of just 98 foreign games to receive an ISBN license in China in 2023, and has been frequently highlighted as the Game of the Day on the App Store in countries like China, the UK, Ireland, and South Korea.

• In 2023, Playkot was recognized with two WN Talents Awards for Employer of the Year and Best Support.
